About Me
I'm a skateboarder, and I don't have to be good, I skate....cus I want to. And If you think I'm one of those girls who only likes skateboarding because Ryan Scheckler looks good in a pair of jeans and some shades, then you'd be mistaken. Skateboarding is my escape, escape from all things that leave me needing some air to breathe, and skateboarding is open air; freedom. It gives me a better look at the busy world, gives me a chance to slow it down a bit and enjoy it far more, for a lot longer. Anyways that's how I see skateboarding. I skate alone, I dont have a car either so actually progressing with my skateboarding is difficult because Im limited to what I have right now which isn't much, but that still hasn't stopped me. I dont really have anyone to skate with and sometimes I like it that way, it clears my mind and I think I concentrate a lot harder that way and I talk to myself an awful lot when Im on that battle ground.
Interests
GOD, Walkin and rollin, skatin and paintin, reading and writing and drawing. Taking pictures and plants. Hangin out with my best pal, my hetero-life mate. Playing Left 4 Dead and Counterstrike cause Im just that badass. Nice warm breezy days to make it all worthwhile. And great movies to end it all.
Current Setup
a good deck, nice wheels, worn-out bearings, and two steady trucks.
Current Shoes
well i have two current shoes and they happen to be emerica and es,
Favorite Skater(s)
Inspiring thinking skateboarders like Steve Berra, Mikey Taylor, John Rattray, Rodney Mullen,Brandon Biebel, dylan reider, nick dompierre, kerry getz, jeron wilson, billy marks, kevin spanky long, mark johnson, sierra fellers, ragdoll, , and many others.
Favorite Skate Vid(s)
ahh, I aint here to impress wise guy, I know my shit.
Favorite Movies
I think it should be said that movies are my first love, I am a huge movie buff.Among the 100 on my top are: Peter Pan, Hook, Lord of the RIngs, The Goonies, Stand by me, the mighty ducks 1 & 2, Ghostbusters 1 & 2, little giants, heavyweights, the Burbs, hocus pocus, the lost boys,Back to the future all three, the sandlot, now and then, the halloween tree, three men and a baby, the oustiders, the breakfast club, neverending story,Boys Town, seven brides for seven brothers, west side story, old movies and old musicals mainly, those were when actors had talent, when acting on screen wasn't called "acting" but living in front of a camera, and they are legends. Mickey Rooney, James Cagney, Jimmy Stewart: are just a few of those legends, but you probably dont know who the hell Im talkin about, and to that I say you should go and find out, It's totally worth the 5 minutes outta your day.

haha I'm out of credits too and I don't think I'm going to be using actual dollars to purchase online credit points anytime soon, but it's all gravy :) Anything involving the Peanuts gang is rad and I really appreciate it. I sell the actual charlie brown christmas tree at my job and I'm thinking about snagging that thing for myself for christmas hahaha I'll keep you posted if I do. I don't know any1 that doesn't like sweet potato pie so I figured you'd dig that lol I know a good bit about So Cal. Moved to San diego after I graduated high school for a couple years but I'd still be down to hear the p.o.v. from someone that's lived in cali all their life. What makes it difficult to get pharmacy? Did you change up locations or something? That's a bummer to hear that you don't make it up there as often, hanging out at the shop just chilin and skating are definitely some good times and I miss those as well. Oh man, the rocky driveway lol I have been there and I feels ya for sure but I seriously was stoked for you when I read about the driveway and street being paved, that had to be a good feeling! You could skate as long as you want without the interruption of jagged and lethal groundage lol you do kind of get a comfortable feel and somewhat of an addiction to skating after a while, kinda becomes apart of your daily routine, depending on how your work/school schedule is and the time zone bc I usually like to skate in the day time, don't matter the weather unless it's raining cats and dogs lol but if it's night, a pretty well lit area with smooth pavement works good otherwise I just cruise lol I don't see a point in quitting either, too much physical and mental work has gone into it, why stop now? I have the best time when I'm on my board, definitely a stress reliever haha I only hope to meet more people around here that share this feeling, that would be really cool :-)

hahaha my intentions were never to make you jealous, more like giving you an idea of what to expect when you take your first visit over here. Same thing with the hot dogs, there are venders selling almost everything all over the place, I'm sure you'll like the city alot. The only thing I wish was still around is Coney Island in it's original state. Many childhood memories south of Brooklyn. I won't go into anymore detail about the city bc you really need to experience it first hand to really grasp the idea of how new york operates. Yea Id check that out with your shop owner, I'm sure DLX or podium or some of those cats help you guys get some videos, that's how Allen got his hookups. I would say ebay or something like that but I've heard cases where you don't get what you order sometimes lol sometimes you get nothing at all, which is a bummer beyond anything! Oh yea, I was a mean supporter of the shop..whether it was buying shoes, a deck, sticker slapping the town with SP stickers or whatever I could do to help out. SP was like a second home pretty much, met some cool peples and some not so cool peoples lol but nothing was liking the starting years of skateboarding. All the hard work, sweat and blood being released on a daily basis....just to get the board off the ground! Simply amazing now that I think about, I don't think I've ever worked as physically hard at any thing else compared to trying to ollie for the first time. Now it's like "oh I gotta ollie piece of sidewalk sticking up, alright...pop...peeace" hahaa my exgirlfriend became quite annoyed by it but it's too much to quit and I tried teaching her but she claimed she'll never get good. Getting comfortable on a skateboard doesn't happen overnight lol that's why I think it's starting to die down in my town, alot of these kids had super deep visions of going pro as soon as they walked into zumiez or whatever chain store and picked up their first pro board lol hope your turkey day is flippin awesome, Amber :)

I can totally understand your pov, and I like how you applied it to the ny pizza in the grocery store bc I can tell you from personal experience that ny pizza is some epic stuff! Nothing else is like and the smell hovers around new york, the shops are everywhere! And then when you walk into a grocery store in a some other state that has "new york pizza" written all over it you know this imitation isn't going to cut it lol gotta get the real thing. The skate shop in my old town used to actually order videos upon request, so if you wanted modus operandi, Allan would find a way to get it to the shop lol I was too stoked to watch Fully Flared online, just couldn't do it. And they had a premier at the shop on the release date but I had to work that night so by the time I got off and I walked in I think I made it around Guy's second part or something, but still was blown away by it and by my man MJ! Dude is insanely sick, I have the same video of him vs the legion of doom on my myspace page lol It's a real bummer bc the shop closed down this summer bc no support was coming through like it was circa 2004-06, good times! So this whole berrics unified isn't too bad of an idea, but to make it seem like if you don't contribute money to be in the berrics unified, you're not considered important, which is bollocks! lol The video just threw me off a little, I'm down for it but don't make it seem all non-contributing shops suck. What are your thoughts on it?
Yea, losing a family never really is a swell thing, you do kind lose a bit of yourself whenever they pass, but you keep the memories with you forever and spread those to your children about how awesome great-grandma was :-) The situation with my grandmother was a real strange thing bc although I had always considered her as my grandmother, and still do to this day(strict on everything I did but still awesome!), she wasn't my biological. My mom was adopted and I had found that out around my 7th or 8th grade. My biological lived in Long Island, NY. I had been living in NC around this time, as did most of my family including my grandmother for many, many years so it was kind of a mind blow to find out I have a whole other side of family in the city somewhere lol Mind blow #2 came when I found out her nationality was 100% puerto rican, and it kinda made sense why I used to do so well in spanish lol my mom took my sister and I up state to visit and she was cool as hell! Her son is a dj at this ny radio station that plays alot of really good underground rock/hip hop/techno so I was truly stoked to meet him. She died around my freshman year of high school from parkinsons disease but I'm glad I got to meet her before hand, she impacted my life alot during that one trip and she was a beast at chinese checkers lol I guess i was pretty lucky to have known two great people out a very awkward situation as a child, but I love em both and they'll stay with me for life. and that's that lol
